Greetings From Pastor Dan
I have been part of a Calvary Chapel since the age of 21. I am now 35 years old. I was saved through Calvary Chapel Red Barn, San Bernardino- Pastor John Miller. My family and I fellowshipped there for two years. From there we went to Calvary Chapel Chino Valley and were taught the Word by Pastor David Rosales for 10 years. I have had a very good relationship with Calvary Chapel. I can truly say God has used Calvary Chapel to define who I am today. It has been a life changing experience not only for my family, but for the families that have come to our church.
I have been involved in various aspects of ministry: Men's, Clean up, Trash, Children's, Missions, High School, Leadership, Couples, and where ever the Lord lead me. I went through Pastor David's one year Shepherd class (A Call to Ministry) and went on to graduate from Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa (Pastor Chuck Smith's) School of Ministry in 2007. The work we started is now beginning to take form at Calvary Chapel Fontana. We have bible teaching and children's ministry every Sunday. We also have men and women bible studies alternating Saturday mornings.
We have been a part of the Harvest Crusade for two years as a partner church. We actively evangelize through community events like cruise nights, concerts at parks, fairs, etc. We pass out flyers and speak to people about the Good News of Jesus Christ. It is wonderful to see what the Lord is doing. As a young man I know I have a tough road ahead but I feel that God has called me to take the Calvary Chapel model- teach the Word simply declaring the whole counsel of God from Genesis to Revelation- into the next generation so they, too, can experience a changed life through the Word of God and the Calvary Chapel movement.
